Derisk has recently compiled a technical report for our client, Avenir Makatea Pty Ltd, prepared in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects within Canada. Avenir Makatea Pty Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited, which is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada. The report presents an update to the company’s Korella North phosphate deposit in north-west Queensland.
The Technical Report presents results of exploration completed at the Property to August 2023 together with a new Mineral Resource estimate. The company plans to lodge an application for a Mining Lease within the next six months with the goal of developing an open pit mining operation at the Property with simple on-site beneficiation to generate a direct shipping product for sale internationally.
