Today marks the seventh anniversary of Derisk Geomining Consultants, and we are very proud of the many achievements realised since March 2017. We have completed over 200 assignments across more than 25 commodities in 21 countries. We have a global clientele numbering nearly one hundred organisations, including exploration and mining companies, financial, legal, and commercial institutions, government authorities, and industry groups, with many repeat clients.
Throughout the last seven years, we have stayed true to our business strategy, which has proven to be effective and fit-for-purpose in good times and bad. Our business model of maintaining a very small core employee group and an extensive associate base has allowed us to always put forward an “A Team” for every client. We can only do this by having an excellent relationship with our trusted associates, and we can’t thank them enough for their continued support of Derisk. We have now had the pleasure of working with more than 50 associates in the fields of exploration, mining, processing, environmental, and safety.
Derisk directors Mark Berry and Michele Pilkington continue to be the driving force behind the company, wonderfully supported by Mal Dorricott and Cameron Graves. The groundwork laid in the first few years of the company’s life has earnt Derisk credibility, reliability, and a reputation for delivering high quality and timely outputs cost-effectively.
