Derisk has been engaged by Hellyer Metals Underground Pty Ltd to complete a feasibility study on the redevelopment of the Fossey underground base and precious metal mine in northwestern Tasmania. The Fossey mine was originally operated from 2010 to 2012 when the ore was treated through the adjacent Hellyer process plant. The company is looking to redevelop the mine, which has approximately 400,000 tonnes of Mineral Resource remaining and additional exploration potential. The study is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
